Which Open Graph tags do I need?

At least og:title, og:description, og:image and og:url; og:type adds the content type (e.g. website or article).

Which image size for the social preview?

Recommended is 1200×630 px (1.91:1 aspect ratio) and a file size under 5 MB.

Why is no preview image shown?

Often og:image is missing or the image URL is relative instead of absolute – use a full https URL.

Do I need separate Twitter tags?

twitter:card and twitter:image improve display on X; otherwise many platforms fall back to the Open Graph tags.
